At another time in Mussoorie, a mahatma came for Shri Nathji’s darshan along with his disciples. Shri Nathji’s words were like a cloudburst that day. He spoke for two hours. The ascetics were transported to a hitherto unexperienced plane of meditation. When Shri Nathji had finished, the mahatma asked his disciples:

How much time has elapsed?

Two hours, said the disciples, looking at their watches.

That is what your watches tell you, said the mahatma, but what do you feel?

It is as if not a moment has elapsed, said the astonished disciples.

I am your Guru, said the mahatma to his disciples,” I have not brought you to an ordinary place. Time is not allowed to exist here!

“Kissee aisi vaisi jagah par naheen laayaa hoon. Kaal ko yahaan aane ki ijaazat naheen hai!

Whether it were multitudes in the thousands, or individuals meeting Shri Nathji alone, every person in the world who met Shri Nathji experienced a total absence of time in his presence. It was as if time did not exist before Shri Nathji.

Shri Nathji had often said:

Where God exists,
Time does not exist!

This was seen very vividly in the personality of Shri Nathji, which was untouched by time or age. He remained just as beautiful and just as radiant with the passage of time.
Shri Nathji would often say that time and space did not exist for him:

All time is Now,
All distance Here!
