Not all who came to him were won over. Shri Nathji often said:
It is raining. There are two glasses. One is upright, and the other is upside down. The rain will fill only the glass which is standing upright; it will not fill the glass which is upside down. The rain will, however, go on falling equally on both.
“Those who come with receptive minds, receive what I have to offer, instantly. It is not my fault if I cast my light, but the eyes are shut. The sun is out, but for the eyes that are drowned in sleep, it is still darkness.
