In 1935, Shri Sohan Lal Khosla, an old devotee of Shri Nathji at Lahore, had this experience to narrate. It was an experience that was to change his life, and remain with him forever. He saw a vision. There was a large Hall which appeared to be high up in the heavens and stretched infinitely in all directions.
Within sat all the devis and devtaas, all the angels, all the gods and goddesses, the prophets and saints and sages, the kings and emperors of the world.
They were all waiting with folded hands for someone to arrive. There was a large Throne in the hall.
And then, suddenly, God made His entrance into the hall and seated Himself upon the Throne.
All the angels, gods and goddesses, the saints and prophets, the kings and emperors prostrated before Him. The Glory of His Light appeared to spread to all corners of the Universe. Sohan Lal looked upon the Face of God – and the Face was that of Shri Nathji.
Shri Sohan Lal ‘s heart and soul were vibrating with a hitherto unfelt feeling. He had been going for Shri Nathji’s darshan to his darbaar and he knew that people worshipped him as God, and that had been the feeling of his heart as well. But here he was given a vision that far exceeded his own expectations.
Early in the morning, he narrated the vision to his son, R.K. Khosla, and was surprised when he heard his son say:
Father, I had exactly the same vision last night!
Multitudes thronged to Shri Nathji wherever he went in Lahore. His name had become legend. The sheer mention of his name would send a thrill of joy in the hearts of many who felt absolutely and completely related to him.
At first Shri Nathji stayed at No.3 Kutchery Road, along with Shri Babaji Maharaj, at Lahore, where the public came for his darshan in multitudes.
