There followed a difficult, bitter struggle against the forces of evil–which involved successive visits to lawyers and officials, and the courts.
I have come as Visvamitra, who sought the protection of Rama, Shri Nathji said to a Magistrate in Dehra Dun. It was a strange statement coming from the mouth of Lord Rama himself.
All of Shri Nathji’s works in life, all the problems that he created around himself, were designed to give salvation to mankind. He brought this problem upon himself only so that the lawyers, magistrates, and common folk in the court premesis may catch a glimpse of God, so that those of the legal profession who served him might derive peace and beatitude. His visits to the lawyers chambers and the courts were a means he used to bless the humanity suffering from the scourge of litigation.
