As Shri Nathji’s rickshaw reached the slope leading up to Savitri Nivas, there were the devotees Chaman Lal Magoo, Laj Pat Rai Khanna and the Talwars pulling the rickshaw up the steep climb.
Amongst them was Damyanti Chopra, the sister of Mrs. Kamla Talwar, a headmistress in Delhi, who was a sick person and a patient of asthma.
She also pulled the rickshaw up the slope along with the others and appeared to be endowed with a new strength. As the rickshaw reached the gate of Savitri Nivas she said:
“I had wished that this road would never end. That Shri Nathji would sit in the rickshaw and I would go on pulling it till eternity!”
And Shri Nathji said: “The reward for such a service would have to be in like measure!”
