Shri Nathji had once said:
Do the holy books–the Vedas–comprise all of God’s knowledge? Are they complete or incomplete? If you say they are complete then you are implying that the infinite knowledge of God was capable of being expressed in a few thousand pages. This is to belittle the infinitude of God.
“However if you say the holy books are incomplete, it does not appear to be proper either.
“What, then, is the answer? The answer is: the holy books are complete as far as the world is concerned, and they are incomplete as far as God is concerned.
“Out of the infinite ocean of God’s knowledge a little drop was given to the earth. However, that drop was sufficient for the people of the world, and, therefore, in that sense complete in itself. But when compared to the infinity of God’s Knowledge, it was just a drop.
Shri Ganesh Prasad Bhutt, the former Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh, who remained a devotee of Shri Nathji right up to the last moments of his life, used to say to Shri Nathji:
I can see Lord Rama and Lord Krishna in your personality. But it is impossible to fathom the infinity of your real self!
Indeed, Bhutt had rightly said that human beings could scarce comprehend or describe the entire Majesty of the Infinite Creator.
