After Shri Nathji’s return to Nagpur in September 1978, he began showering his Divine Grace on the people of Nagpur who had been thirsting for it since five months. The Divine Light of Shri Nathji that was at its peak at Akola continued to shine as powerfully as ever. Shri Nathji’s residence at Nagpur, Bhide Bungalow, had turned into a temple of God. The devotees of Nagpur came in a never-ending stream. Even the devotees of Akola followed Shri Nathji to Nagpur and came to his residence like moths drawn to a flame.
If Kurukshetra was where Lord Krishna had revealed Himself in the past, the soil of Maharashtra was where Shri Nathji revealed his inner self and gave to the world an unending spiritual wealth that was contained in his words. All who came to him at once experienced the presence of God.
There was the worshipper of the goddess Kaali. Every time he came before Shri Nathji something happened to him. He would let out a cry even as the goddess called out from within him, hailing the divinity of Shri Nathji. It was as if the goddess Kaali were paying her homage to Shri Nathji.
Years ago when there were no tape recorders in the early l930’s, Shri Nathji had said to the forces of Nature:
I am storing the wealth of my thoughts and words in you. The time will come when I will call upon you to return them to me!
And the time had come in Nagpur and Akola in 1978 where Shri Nathji’s unending flow of divine words was flooding the hearts and souls of all, in some of the greatest spiritual revelations. It was the Word of God coming directly from the mouth of God. And it was the first time that such words had been preserved on tape in the history of the world.
Priya Nath constantly carried a tape recorder by his side, trying to record as many words as Shri Nathji said, although it was an impossible task and he lost many precious pronouncements.
Shri Nathji had said time and again:
Main Laakhon saal tak bol saktaa hoon!

I can go on speaking for thousands of years!”
“Ye meri aavaaz naheen, ye Bhagwan ki aavaaz hai!

This is not my voice, it is the Voice of God!
I am listening to this voice just like you.

At one time at Nagpur, in 1973, Shri Nathji had even gone so far as to say:
If my physical body creates any doubts in your mind, then just forget it! I do not exist. There is just yourself and God!
Even as the multitudes flocked to listen to Shri Nathji, and more importantly, to have his divine darshan – the glimpse of his divinely beautiful personality – Shri Nathji met all and sundry at all times of the day or night. Men, women and children, the intellectuals and the ordinary folk all came to Shri Nathji and were enthralled and blessed beyond measure.
Shri Nathji had lost some weight in Akola. No man could have continued the effort that he was making at his age of 76. Shri Nathji had endured the unbearable heat of Akola for five months and had spoken for hours, non-stop, every day that he was there.
In Nagpur, the weather was still hot, and Shri Nathji wore his white cotton achkan and his orange or yellow turban along with his brown-framed spectacles most of the time. He would walk around in the hall of his residence upstairs whenever he got the time, and never had any occasion to go out.
Truly, Shri Nathji was living only for the humanity around him and had no other purpose to exist in the world. The Divine Light on his face shown as brightly as ever, and he was still the most beautiful being upon earth.
