A person came to Shri Nathji and said: “Prabhuji! Untruth flourishes in the world of today!”
And Shri Nathji said to him:
“On the contrary I think it is only Truth that triumphs!”
“But sir,” said the man to Shri Nathji: “only yesterday I told a lie and earned a lakh of rupees! That proves that untruth wins!”
Shri Nathji said to the man:
“Tell me, when you told a lie, did you disclose that it was a lie? Or did you say it was the Truth?”
The man was taken aback and said: “I told them it was the truth!”
And Shri Nathji concluded:
“Then how can you say that it was untruth that triumphed! It was Truth that won. If an untruth disguised as truth can reap rich rewards, then how much greater will be the power of truth itself!
“Jis sachh ki aarr men jhoot safal ho saktaa hai, vo sachh khud kitnaa safal ho saktaa hai!”
