Shri Nath summed up spiritual life in a material world as follows, in a verse he had written at the age of sixteen in his famous book:
“Payaame Muhabbat”-“A Message of Love”:
Deedaye zaahir men mere ye jahaan bastaa rahe
Deedaye baatin men lekin kuch sivaa tere na ho.
Let the world remain before my eyes to see,
But within me let there be none else but Thee!
Shri Nathji would often say:
“ I have not come to take away your world.
I have come to add God to it!”
“Main aapki duniyaan chhurraane naheen aayaa. Main Bhagwan ko pakarrvaane aayaa hoon!”
