Khanna once said to Shri Nathji: “Duniyaa men aap jo chaahen doosron ko de den, magar charan mujhe den!
“You may give whatever you like to the people of the world, but I want only one thing – give me your feet!”
Shri Nathji laughed and said: “Khannaji! That is a very clever thing to ask for! If my feet come in your possession I shall never be able to run away!”
Shri Nathji had often quoted the saying of the legendary devotee, Meerabai, who had said:
Kit jaaoon taj charan tihaari
Where can I go if I leave Thy Feet
