Once Shri Khanna introduced a friend of his, who was a C.I.D. officer, to Shri Nathji. The man said to Shri Nathji, humorously: Huzoor, you cannot hide yourself from me try as you may – I can detect the greatest of mysteries!
Later that evening, when Shri Nathji was speaking, and the man was listening with rapt attention, a sudden impulse caused Shri Nathji to place his hand on the man’s back. The person’s eyes closed, radiance came upon his face, and he fell down unconscious. After he had regained consciousness, R.R. Khanna said to him:
It is doubtful whether you could find Shri Nathji –for you have lost even yourself!
Indeed Shri Nathji was the greatest detective in the whole world, who could detect the innermost stirrings within a man’s heart.
