Shri Nathji went for a long walk once when he was in Lucknow. He was accompanied by about one hundred and fifty persons! As was his wont, he began talking to the people, even as he walked.
Huzoor, said his devotees, you are not getting any rest this way, let us wait here while you complete the walk alone!
Shri Nathji did as they said. He went around the path alone, and returned to the group.
We trust you had a relaxing walk, unhampered by people, said the devotees.
On the contrary, Shri Nathji said, this has been an unusually tiring day! When I was with you I had only a few people to contend with, but when I was alone, by myself, I had the whole world with me!
