Of all the Kasera brothers, the one who came closest to Shri Nathji was Shyam Lal Kasera.
Shyamji! Shyamji! Shri Nathji’s voice would be heard echoing in the house, calling out to his loyal attendant. He remained with Shri Nathji over long periods of time in various cities: Mussoorie, Allahabad, Delhi. He was to fill the gap created by Shri Nathji’s Sikh attendants, Basant Singh and Sohan Singh.
