Numerous were the people who came to Shri Nathji during those days at Lucknow and acknowledged his divinity. There was the pandit who saw him in the form of Lord Krishna during the performance of aartis at the house of Seth Khun Khunji.
Said the pandit: For a while I had an illusion of Lord Krishna in you.
“Aapko dekhkar mujhe aisaa bhram saa huaa ke main Bhagwan Krishna ko dekh rahaa hoon!
Shri Nathji replied:
How wonderful it would have been had the illusion remained–at least you would have continued to see Lord Krishna!
“Kitnaa achhaa hotaa ke aapkaa bhram banaa raihtaa. Kam se kam aapko Bhagwan Krishna to nazar aate raihte!
