Those were the days in Delhi when Shri Nathji and Priya Nath would often listen to the news that came over B. B. C. London, as Priya Nath switched the radio on. All other news over the radio or the newspapers had been censored. The affairs of the country had suddenly become of importance to Shri Nathji and he had to know what was happening in all its corners.
Shri Nathji and Priya Nath often listened to the B.B.C. on a small transistor radio in the stillness of the night, with a quilt thrown over their heads, so that the sound would not be heard outside.
