Then there was Sardar Harkirat Singh, an electrical engineer, who also lived close to Shri Nathji in Sarvodya Enclave. His life had been in turmoil, in restlessness. But the moment he came to Shri Nathji he found himself at Peace within.
Namaskars, and Namaskars, and Namaskars to our revered Maharajji, he would write. For him Shri Nathji was an Emperor of the Spiritual World.
Shri Nathji always referred to him as a Knight–a brave and righteous man with a large build. Sitting at the feet of Shri Nathji with his hands pressing upon Shri Nathji’s calves, he would give the appearance of a loyal pillar of Faith.
Aitthe te phurnaa hi band ho jaandaa hai! his wife would say in Punjabi, all thought is extinguished here in Shri Nathji’s presence!

In later years, Sardar Harkirat Singh went to Zambia along with his family, but reluctantly. He did not want to be away from India where his Lord and Master, Shri Nathji, was living.

Sardar Harkirat Singh was an engineer and an intellectual, who had had a brilliant academic career all his life. Shri Nathji brought peace to his mind first, and then gave him material prosperity.
Thousands of miles away in Zambia, Africa, Harkirat Singh felt the presence of Shri Nathji, in all the difficult tasks of his life.
You even made electric generators run for me, he said to Shri Nathji later, when he visited India for the darshan of Shri Nathji in 1977.
