Mrs. Gangabai Bhutt sent a frantic telegram to Shri Nathji to save India from the Seventh Fleet.
Just then the war was declared over. Pakistan had surrendered before India. There was no occasion for Nixon to use the Seventh Fleet and it went back home.
There was Shri Nathji’s hand working in the background against every injustice in the world. He would frequently quote the verse of the poet-king, Zafar:

“Ai Zafar usse aadmi naa jaaniyegaa
Go ho kaisaa hee saahibo faimo zakaa,
Jisse aish men yaade Khudaa naa rahee
Jissee taish men Khaufe Khudaa naa rahaa

“O Zafar, call not such a one a man,
Though he have ever be exalted by status,
Who remembers not God in luxury,
And fears not God in anger.”

There was Shri Nathji’s warning echoing forth time and again:

“MERE HINDUSTAN KI TARAF KOYI AANKH UTHHAAKAR NA DEKHE!

LET NO ONE CAST AN EVIL EYE AT MY HINDUSTAN!”
Soon, thereafter, events in America took a complicated course. Nixon was implicated in the Watergate Scandal, which made him quit his post as President of America. The law of nemesis had caught up with him. Shri Nathji’s Persian Verse was echoing again:

“Dauraane bakaa choon baade saiharaa biguzasht,
Talkheeo Khusheeo zebo zishto biguzasht
Pindaasht sitamgar ke jafaa bar maa kard
Bar gardane oo ba maand va bar maa biguzasht

The time of life passed away like the morning breeze,
The good and the bad, the beautiful and the ugly, all passed away!
Beware! O Oppressor! Thy torment has passed over my head, and has fallen around thy own neck!

Just as the war ended in East Pakistan, the first thing Mrs. Bhutt did was to send a telegram to Shri Nathji in the morning:
Thousand congratulations for your Lordship’s Grace. World Peace Established.
Though Shri Nathji never gave any credit to himself for any of these incidents, nor, indeed, did he ever speak of them in his sermons, his devotees were convinced that he was the silent manipulator behind the veil. Indeed, anyone who genuinely believed that Shri Nathji was God would have to come to the same conclusion.
Not everyone was fortunate enough to have the faith Shri Nathji had given Mrs. Gangabai Bhutt. It was a consequence of this enormous faith that she saw the power of Shri Nathji working on such a large scale.
