In addition there were the devotees from Akola, Shri Bal Ojarkar, the school principal, Shri Bal Bhagat, the singer, and Shri Shidore, contractor turned singer, who were all enthralled by the darshan of Shri Nathji. These were the devotees from Akola–the few that had been left after the passing away of over twenty-two years since Shri Nathji’s visit to Akola in December 1950, all lost in an ecstasy of divine intoxication. Shri Nathji’s presence had taken them to another world.
They were singing the bhajans of the late Dr. Gobind Babtiwale with great feeling. For them these were not mere bhajans but rather the voice of their heart. Shri Nathji had become a part and parcel of their inner beings. Their voices rang out even as they sang in unison:
“Mere Bhola Nathaa ko milne chalaa
Apne preetam se aanand lootne chalaa
I go now to meet my Bhola Nath,
I go to seek happiness from my Beloved.”
