A person who is genuinely great, Shri Nathji would say, has no desire to be great. Only, he who is away from greatness, desires to attain it!
Shri Nathji had said in a loud tone in one of his lectures at Nagpur In 1973:
“Write down the names of all those who desire to have their names included in History! I have no desire to go down in History.
“Likh deejiye un logon ke naam jo chaahate hain ke unke naam History men rahen! Mere dil men History men raihne ki koyi ichhaa naheen!”
“If my body deludes you then forget about it. I do not even exist! Here there is only HIM and you, and no one in between!”
“Agar meraa shareer dokhaa detaa hai to usse bhool jaayen! Main to hoon hee naheen. Sirf VO hai, aur aap!”
