There was Vasant Bardapurkar, who wept as he sang, whose heart and soul had been entirely given over to Shri Nathji, and who had given up classical music to sing the Urdu and Persian verses composed by Shri Nathji in light music.
Each time he sang, tears would swell up in his eyes, and, indeed, in the eyes of all who listened to his soulful, melodious voice.
He would sing the Urdu verses that were contained in Shri Nathji’s book: “Zahoore Haqueeqat”:

Nikal jaaye dam tere kadmon ke neeche
Yehi dil ki hasrat, yehi arzoo hai

Let the last breath of my life be spent at Thy feet,
That is my only wish, my only desire.

For years, in faraway Buldana in Maharashtra, Vasant Bardapurkar had remained an ardent follower of Shri Babaji Maharaj. Shri Nathji’s book: “Zahoore Haqueeqat”, which was a biography of Shri Babaji Maharaj, had touched the depths of his soul, converting him forever. It appeared to him now that the rest of his life be spent only in singing the praises of his Lord.
