Shri Nathji once said to a group of people sitting before him:
“Tell me while you were before me did the thought of salvation even occur to you?”

They all said unanimously: “No!”
And Shri Nathji added:
“That is because you were already in a state of salvation! I do not bring promises of a salvation to come. I wish to give you salvation–just now!

“Main kal ke moksh kaa vaayedaa naheen kartaa, main abhee moksh dene aayaa hoon!”

People who came before Shri Nathji, so lost themselves in his Divine Love, that they forgot themselves altogether. For them this state was salvation itself. It was a bliss that they had never experienced in all their lives. All their worries and sorrows were washed away in a moment.
Shri Nathji once said: “If I were to promise you heaven and at the same time tell you that you would not find peace there, would you desire it? No! This shows that peace is of greater worth than any heaven that you can think of.”
People who sat before Shri Nathji found themselves in an indefinable heaven where there was a total feeling of absorption in Shri Nathji and nothing else existed.
As the Persian poet had truly written:

Agar firdaus bar rue zameenasto
Hameenasto, hameenast, hameenasto!

If there on earth be any Paradise,
It is this, it is this, it is this!
