At another time a mahatma came for Shri Nathji’s darshan along with his disciples. Shri Nathji’s words were like a cloudburst that day. He spoke for two hours. The ascetics were transported to a hitherto inexperienced plane of meditation. When Shri Nathji had finished, the mahatma asked his disciples:
How much time has elapsed?
Two hours, said the disciples, looking at their watches.
That is what your watches tell you, said the mahatma, but what do you feel?
It is as if not a moment has elapsed, said the astonished disciples.
I am your Guru, said the mahatma to his disciples, I have not brought you to an ordinary place. Time is not allowed to exist here – Kissee aisi vaisi jagah par naheen laayaa hoon. Kaal ko yahaan aane ki ijaazat naheen hai!
Shri Nathji would frequently say:

WHERE GOD EXISTS
TIME DOES NOT EXIST!

All who came to Shri Nathji felt the total absence of time. Once when Shri Nathji went to give a sermon at the Rialto Theatre at Mussoorie, five hours elapsed without the audience being conscious of the passage of even one moment of time.
Little did the people know it, but for the time that they were with Shri Nathji they did not age at all. Indeed if this were made known, people would have remained by the side of Shri Nathji all the time.
