Ram Nath Seth had Shri Nathji’s darshan at Mussoorie when he and his mother had gone to listen to Shri Nathji’s lecture at the Majestic Theatre in 1945.
At the time, his mother had had a vision of Shri Nathji in the fulness of his glory as the Kalki Avatar riding on a white horse. That vision remained with her all her life, till the time of her death.
Although Ram Nath Seth did not look upon Shri Nathji with the same degree of faith as his mother, yet he felt that Shri Nathji was his heart and soul and he often wrote to Shri Nathji calling him, “Dear Brother”.
Indeed, Ram Nath Seth was the only person on earth who called Shri Nathji his brother, and Shri Nathji enjoyed the relationship and also wrote in a similar strain to Ram Nath.
His wife, Rama Devi, and their little daughter, all had great faith and devotion in Shri Nathji. Their daughter would place flowers daily before Shri Nathji’s photograph in their puja room and bow before it with great reverence, placing all her child’s prayers before Shri Nathji.
While Shri Nathji was at Bombay, the entire family came for his darshan as frequently as they could, because they knew that, once gone, he would not return to Bombay soon. Rama Devi wrote in a letter to Shri Nathji later, after Shri Nathji had left Bombay.
“We content ourselves with the thought of Thy Holy Feet. Mother remembers thy love each and every day. You are our refuge in life. May your Divine Grace keep showering on us always.”
