Khera and Mrs. Khera had two sons, Pali and Shoti. The sons had chosen to become Sikhs. Mrs. Khera belonged to a Sikh family, while Som Dutt Khera himself was a Hindu. However the sons had the same faith in Shri Nathji as their parents.
The entire family served Shri Nathji with great devotion, and many people came for Shri Nathji’s darshan at their flat.
Shri Nathji’s divine light was at its peak, and no matter who came before him, he was filled at once with devotion. The mere sight of Shri Nathji’s glowing face was enough to startle people into a spiritual awakening. People were experiencing the presence of God in a city where the world of materialism reigned supreme.
The flat was a small one. The Kheras were worried that Shri Nathji was living in cramped quarters in an already over-crowded flat.
Visitors who came for Shri Nathji’s darshan had also to be accommodated. However, in a city like Bombay even this small flat was hard to get, and the Kheras did not have the means to arrange for a larger place for Shri Nathji.
The Bhutts were sent back to their home by Shri Nathji so that they could attend to their work, while Shri Nathji remained at Bombay along with his family and Lala Hargopal.
Shri Nathji never made any plans, and his programmes were always chalked out by the Divine Will. If there was even one thirsty soul waiting for his darshan anywhere in the world he would have to go there and wait for that person to come to him.
