Shri Nathji was going down from Mussoorie to Dehra Dun in the Standard Car, when one of the wheels of the car came off. Shri Nathji was sitting on the side of the car from which the wheel came off. The car could have fallen to one side and indeed gone over the edge of the mountain. It was one of the most serious attacks on his life by the powers of evil. However, Shri Nathji’s work in the world had not finished.
A miracle occurred. The car balanced itself on the remaining three wheels until it was brought to a halt! It was Shri Nathji’s divine power that prevented the car from falling over to one side.
Later investigation showed that the nuts that held the wheel to the hub of the axle of the car had been removed and someone had fixed the wheel with thin wires. It was never discovered who the miscreant was, but it showed that the powers of evil were still alive and active, and doing their worst to jeopardise Shri Nathji’s life and mission.
