The temple was completed in 1972. Shri Ram Lal had the satisfaction of seeing his dream true. He waited for Shri Nathji to come to Akola to inaugurate the temple with his own hands. But this was not to be. He left his earthly body and entered into the invisible abode his Lord and Master had prepared for him in Heaven.
The Bhola Nath Mandir was the only temple of its kind dedicated to a living personality of the age. Shri Nathji could visit it only in 1978, when he returned to Akola after twenty-eight years.
