In the summer of 1951, Shri Nathji’s masterpiece, Atma Vijay part II, was printed by the Akola Devotees at a press they engaged at Agra. The cover had a beautiful orange colour bearing the same design as Shri Nathji’s Atma Vijay Part I, which had been printed in 1949 at Allahabad.
The two parts were not inter-related but were the result of Shri Nathji’s continuous divine flow that showered divine revelations in every word and every sentence, which would go on enlightening humanity for ages to come.
These books were the result of Shri Nathji’s dictation to Shyam Lal Kasera at Shadi Bhavan Mussoorie during 1945 and 1946.
Shri Nathji never sold any of his books nor did he allow his devotees to sell them. They were given only to those genuine seekers after truth who thirsted after them.
As such, many of these books remained in printing presses for long periods of time for want of payment to the press. Any other person in Shri Nathji’s place could have earned thousands from his books alone.
Shri Nathji would relate how it was said of the famous philosopher Paul Brunton that he had earned rupees two crores from his books alone. But Shri Nathji never sold the word of God. It was something that had to be given away free – like the air and the sunshine, like Shri Nathji Himself.
Any person who read Shri Nathji’s books was at once convinced that the author of the books was a Divine Being. There was a feeling that accompanied the written words of Shri Nathji, which went deep down into the reader’s heart and soul and touched him so deeply that he found himself face to face with God. And yet there were few people who were aware that these books existed, because they were never advertised. Only those who came for Shri Nathji’ darshan with devotion were given copies.
