Shri Nathji’s grace had gone out especially towards a certain Shri Banerjee who visited him almost daily. He was a very sick person, a patient of diabetes, whose toe had been amputated and whose foot was always in bandages.
After meeting Shri Nathji a new life appeared to have come into him, and, much to the astonishment of his friends and relatives he was found walking around and leading an active life. His devotion to Shri Nathji kept on increasing day by day. His heart and soul told him from within that Shri Nathji was no ordinary person but was God Himself, come down upon earth to give salvation to mankind.
He had discovered that Shri Nathji liked qawwaalis, and had thereafter arranged for qawwaali singers at his house and invited Shri Nathji there. It was a glorious occasion when Shri Nathji’s Light Divine flooded the hearts and souls of all present, even the singers, the qawwaals.
Shri Banerjee continued to come to Shri Nathji for the entire duration of Shri Nathji’s stay at Allahabad. Shri Nathji would shower his divine grace on him for hours on end each time he came before him.
