Shri Nathji would often say:
Keep your houses in readiness, and your doors open. One does not know when He may arrive.
Ghar sajaakar rakkho aur dwaar khulaa rakkho. Na maalum vo kis vakt chalaa aaye!”
Sardar Harbhajan Singh fell at the feet of Shri Nathji in a prostration. He was seeing Shri Nathji after 1942, when he had been first given the spark of faith at Allahabad.
Although Harbhajan Singh knew Shri Nathji would be arriving at Allahabad he had no idea what the actual date of his arrival would be, because of the uncertainty in the time taken in travelling by car.
