He was named Pran Nath. Shri Babaji Maharaj was so overjoyed with the birth of the child that he distributed laddoo sweets to the entire city of Lahore.
Shri Nathji would ever afterwards fondly recollect this, by saying: Shri Babaji ne saare Lahore men laddoo bantvaaye! Shri Babaji distributed laddoos to the entire city of Lahore!
It had been Shri Babaji’s wish:
Hamen aur Nath chaahiyen! I wish to see more Nath’s in the world!
And this was coming true.
The first child of Shri Nathji was named Pran Nath. Shri Babaji’s happiness knew no bounds. One day, when he was playing with the child in his lap, the child tipped his weight over backwards and Shri Babaji found himself falling. Immediately he said:
Pranji! Aap to mujh se bhee zyaadaa taakatvar ho gaye! Pranji, you have become even more powerful than me!
Shri Babaji Maharaj was referring to the inner spiritual strength of Pran Nath, which was to manifest itself in the years to come.
In later days, Shri Nathji was to say about Pran Nath:

“Ye Bhagwan ke khazaane ki chaabi hain! He is the key to God’s Treasury!”

At Lahore, Shri Babaji Maharaj lived at 3, Kutchery Road. The house of Mateshwari’s father, Lala Hargopal Khanna, was at 133 Anarkali.
Shri Nathji continued to stay on at Lahore after February 1940, as Mateshwari could not undertake the rigours of travelling. And it was thus that December 1940 came upon them while they were at Lahore.
Shri Nathji had dutifully sat by the side of the bed of Shri Babaji Maharaj since the days of his childhood. He would do so even now, sitting on a small chowki. People would come for their darshan in multitudes and Shri Babaji Maharaj would go on giving his darshan to them all.
Shri Babaji Maharaj was very fond of qawwaalis and would call the singers frequently to his house. At such moments the Divine Glory on his face would be unbearable. No one could look upon his countenance and stay in his senses.
The Divine Light on the face of Shri Babaji Maharaj was so powerful that people could rarely retain their consciousness in front of him, unless he chose to shut off the brilliance of his inner light. Jagatmataji, the divine consort of Shri Babaji, always sat by his side, showering her benevolence and blessings upon the world.
Indeed, the world had been blessed by the physical presence of Shri Babaji Maharaj ever since the day he had been born in 1867.
