By the time it was March 1977, a complete political change was in the offing in the country. Shri Nathji stayed in Delhi till May 1977 and then left for Mussoorie again. A beautiful picture of Shri Nathji appeared in the Illustrated Weekly, looking royal, majestic and godly. It was the photo that had been printed at the back of the cover of Shri Nathji’s book, The Secret of Death. People who saw the photograph were enthralled. Many a person, including the disciples of famed mahatmas of the country, wrote to Shri Nathji that they had seen God in the face. ““Sadhus and Mahatmas have never been a match for me. But after reaching you I feel that I have reached the highest truth. If there be any other God, then tell me about Him. Otherwise I must accept you as God!” There was Shri S.C. Vasudeva who was the Superintending Engineer at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at New Delhi. He saw the Face of Shri Nathji in the Weekly and became greatly devoted to him. Shri Vasudeva was destined to play a vital role in Shri Nathji’s drama that would unfold itself in 1981.
