It was during those days that Dr. Gobind Baptiwale came from Akola in Maharashtra for Shri Nathji’s darshan. He had been a friend of Dr. N.V. Purekar, the man who had gone to Lahore and found God in Shri Nathji. He was in Nagpur in March 1949 when Shri Nathji had come there. He was a hardened atheist who refused, at first, to even go for the darshan of Shri Nathji. However, the moment he came before him, a spark of recognition lit up his soul and he fell at Shri Nathji’s feet, becoming his, forever.“Do not worry. I shall make my arrangements myself! Just then a miracle occurred – and a telegram arrived from Shri W.A. Sohni from Akola that he was willing to offer his house for Shri Nathji’s stay at Akola!“Jaise jal jal men miltaa hai, aur surya ki kirnen surya men miltee hain, aaj prem prem men mil rahaa hai!Shri Nathji also added: ““I thank Shri Thumreji for the garland he has placed on me after seeing God in me. I, in turn, see the same God in all of you and place the garlands of my heart on all of you!”“Jiss Bhagwan ko dekh kar aaj Thumreji ne mujhe haar paihnaayaa hai, main ussee Bhagwan ko aap sab men dekhkar apne hridaiya ke haar paihanaa rahaa hoon!”
