It is in December 1986 that there is the visit of Dr. Kopr Kritayakirana, the former room- mate of Priya Nath at Harvard. He had developed intense devotion for Shri Nathji when he had come to visit him at Mussoorie in 1969. “Maharajji you are looking so young!” Shri Nathji embraced him and spoke to him for a long time. He was a Buddhist.“Decay is inherent in all compounded things, hence work out your salvation energetically!”Shri Nathji spoke of the last days of Lord Buddha, when his disciple, Anand, was attending upon him and had sent some visitors away. Lord Budhha was saddened at this and said: “Now that you have sent the visitors away, will I survive? If this life is to go then how much better that even its last moments be spent in the service of humanity!”Shri Nathji ended with the words:“A candle that must burn out with time will have served its purpose in life if its last rays can save even one person from falling!”Shri Nathji also gave Kopr a message for the people of Thailand which he took with him with gratitude. Before leaving, Kopr presented his camera to Priya Nath. It was yet another miracle.
