In February 1962, the situation in India was tense. All the astrologers of the country had predicted an ill-fated combination of stars, which they called an “ashta-graihi”, that boded the end of the world on the 3rd of February. People were in a state of panic. Gangabai Bhutt sent a telegram to Shri Nathji to save the country. In the telegram she wrote:“Jis tarah graih se bachaakar Gajendra ki rakshaa ki thee ussee tarah Bharat ki rakshaa karenThere was a portrait of Shri Nathji writing, in Mussoorie. When two devotees had come to visit him at Mussoorie, one of them had said: “I wonder what he is writing?” And the other had said: “Our Destiny, what else!” “Agar pasand naa aayaa to kaat kar dobaaraa likh denge!And it was thus that Shri Nathji changed the destiny of the world with a single stroke of his divine pen–which was simply His Divine Will.
