Priya Nath had become very negligent in writing his diary every night, right from the start of 1987. This was, firstly, because of the excellent health that Shri Nathji was enjoying at the start of the year, and, secondly, because Priya Nath had been watching over the irregular pulse of Shri Nathji and lying awake on many nights to measure it.
