Shri Nathji had this uncanny ability to please every person in the world. When he was welcomed by thousands in Nagpur in 1973, there were many in Delhi who thought he had forgotten them altogether. Upon his return to Delhi he said to the devotees:“Haathi phire giraan giraan, jiskaa haathi usee kaa naam! An elephant wanders from place to place, and makes its owner proud!”Shri Nathji was telling the devotees at Delhi that even if he was applauded by thousands at Nagpur, the praise went to those who “owned” him–and they were the devotees of Delhi!
