Abbotabad, the birthplace of Shri Nathji, was a place that had gone to Pakistan after the partition. Priya Nath had often wondered what Abbotabad was like, and Shri Nathji had told him that it was a hill station, a little like Mussoorie. Shri Nathji had always said to him:“Mujhe shuroo se hee “Hill stations have suited me right from the beginning. My birth was on a hill station. Later I had come to Mussoorie and stayed there practically all my life.”It was obvious that the climate of the plains never suited Shri Nathji and the desire to return to Mussoorie was ever present in him.“Maine saare“I had chosen Mussoorie after seeing all the hill stations. The dry climate of Mussoorie suited me. It was there that my arm healed itself, when all the doctors had given up hope. In Naini Tal the arm trouble had flared up. It has a damp climate.”“Mussoorie ko angrezon ne“The English had given the title of Queen of the Hills to Mussoorie. All the rajas and maharajas and nawabs used to go there. It was there that I met R.R. Khanna and Justice Abbas Ali Tyyab, Rehana, Sir Sultan Ahmed etc. It was from there that my mission spread. I founded the Divine Love Society there.”Shri Nathji had passed through numerous difficult phases of life, first with Shri Babaji Bhagwan who had given up his wealth and chosen to live in the forests, and later with Mahamateshwari in Dehra Dun, Mussoorie and London, all of which were filled with tragedy. Indeed Shri Nathji rarely had the physical comfort that even ordinary folk enjoyed. His entire time and life were spent in alleviating the ills and sorrows of the people of the world and giving them bliss and salvation, the likes of which had never been seen upon the planet earth before.“Mujhe Pakrro Koyi
