After the birthday of Shri Babaji Bhagwan, Shri Nathji and Priya Nath listened to Ujwala read out the letters that Shri Narsikar had compiled in book form. Shri Nathji wished to speak to Mrs. Narsikar about the marriage proposal he had in mind. However Priya Nath felt that Shri Nathji was too big a personality to involve himself in such worldly talk.“Larrki to poori tarah chaahati hai, ye to Ma kaa man ttheek naheen hai!As soon as Ujwala had come to know that Shri Nathji was contemplating her marriage to Priya Nath, she was besides herself with joy. It was a dream that she had nurtured since childhood, as she had always been fascinated by the personality of Priya Nath and had often had visions of him.“Lala Hargopal Shri Nathji’s soothing words went deep down into the heart and soul of Mrs. Narsikar, penetrating through the veil that the “Bhagwan Krishna ne to Kaali Naag ko maar diyaa, magar aaj to har dil men Kaali Naag baitthaa hai – aur main har dil men koodaa hoon!“Lord Krishna had destroyed the Kaali Naag Serpent, but today there is a Kaali Naag in every heart – and I have lept inside every heart!”Shri Nathji was referring to the powers of evil, the “Yes, if the girl wishes to complete her M.Com, then by all means let her do so. After all she is to be the wife of a Harvard Scholar.”Yet, it was a worldly consideration, which was not wholly necessary, and Shri Nathji acquiesced to it only to give respect to the wishes of the mother.
