The Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, Shri M.N. Shukla comes for Shri Nathji’s darshan along with his wife, his brother and his son. Justice Shukla had become Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court due to the Blessings of Shri Nathji, as he would say again and again. Priya Nath tells him of Shri Nathji’s illness, and he takes Shri Nathji’s darshan through the ‘inner window’ of Shri Nathji’s bedroom. Shri Nathji blesses the husband and wife with both hands raised. The brief darshan of Shri Nathji touches their hearts and souls.“I have never seen such ‘noor’ Divine Light on anyone’s face, as exists on Shri Nathji’s Face. He is the greatest orator of all times. I recall how the greatest intellectuals of the time used to come to Shri Nathji’s lectures during those early years in the 40’s and 50’s when Shri Nathji was the handsomest person ever seen. I was then a lawyer. Shri Nathji’s lectures were held at Rialto Theatre, Mussoorie. Shri Nathji is the only Real ‘Sufi’ I have met in my whole life. Whenever I come before Shri Nathji, tears gush forth from my eyes. I cannot stand before him for more than a few minutes. It is a ‘catharsis’ being close to him. There is truly no one like Him in the world! What beautiful Urdu verses he says!“Sozish hai ik dam kee aur raahate davaami“The burning is for a moment only, and the bliss eternal,When Priya Nath tells Justice M.N. Shukla of Khushwant Singh’s conversion and his article on Shri Nathji which began with the caption ‘GOD INCARNATE’, Justice Shukla remarks:“It’s amazing Shri Nathji could extract such words from such an agnostic!”
