As Mahamateshwari’s Birthday approaches close, coming on the 15th of August, 1988, Shri Nathji tells Priya Nath day by day that he is re-gaining his lost health:“Today it is 70% all right,” he would say, and the next day, he would add, “Now it is 90% all right!”Priya Nath knew that Shri Nathji was keeping his spirits alive by such encouraging words. However, he also saw Shri Nathji make Herculean efforts to walk his usual 100 rounds and to speak in a louder and louder tone. This was because Priya Nath had been telling him that his gait in walking was slow and unsteady and that his voice appeared to be stifled, ‘ghuti-ghuti’ whenever he talked.
