Shri Nathji had always wanted a chair on which he could sit comfortably at meals and even while giving a lecture. He had always said that the sofa chairs in the house caused the stomach to become congested.“Pet katthaa ho jaataa hai! Kursi aisee honi chahiye jismen pet seedhaa rahe bolte vakt!”They had seen a sitting chair at a furniture shop below ‘Dara Opticals’ in Green Park, and Shri Nathji had frequently reminded Priya Nath about the chair, but Priya Nath always seemed to forget about it, until Shri Nathji, too, forgot about it altogether and stopped reminding Priya Nath. Perhaps it was the expense of getting the chair that had made Priya Nath hesitate. It was a regret that was to remain in Priya Nath’s heart ever afterwards.
