When a certain Shri Sood arrives for Shri Nathji’s darshan, Shri Nathji overwhelms him with the words:“Aapne zindagi ke sood ko paa liyaa!“You have obtained the real interest-Sood- of life!”Sood had met Shri Nathji at Sapru House in June 1987 and had lost his heart to Shri Nathji. Shri R.K. Sood was an officer in the Railways. He would frequently phone and ask Priya Nath whether he could join him in serving Shri Nathji–even if it be some work in the bathroom or toilet. He would say to Priya Nath on the phone:“I will consider myself blessed if I can be of any service to Shri Nathji.” This was more than any other devotee had offered at any time through words, and it endeared Shri Sood to Priya Nath, even though he never called him for any such services. Shri Nathji had laid great emphasis on serving holy personalities, in his verses below:Tammannaa aabroo ki hai to kar khidmat Faqueeron kiIf it be thy wish to become great, then serve the saints of GodHarke khidmat kard o makhdoom shudHe who serves becomes great himself, Sewak ko sevaa ban aayi It behooves a servant well to serve,
