October 1990 is a month of many loud pronouncements made by Shri Nathji to the people of the world – while speaking to the lone figure of Mangla sitting on the floor just outside his bedroom door. “Issee vaani ko duniyaa taras rahi hai!“The world is yearning for this voice!”People are saying:‘Hey Nath! Ham bhee baitthe hain teri prateekshaa men – agarche hamaare paas vo netr naheen jis se ham aapkaa aantarik roop dekh saken – beemaari, burraapa, ityaadi, hi dekte hain!‘O Nath! We too, await Thee, even though we have not been granted the inner eye that can see THY REAL SELF and all we can see is Thy Old Age and Illness!”“Ramesh Chandra Shukla ne Raipur se likhaa ke har naye chitr men zyaada“Ramesh Chandra Shukla wrote from Raipur: ‘In every new photograph you look more young, and ever-green.’”“A devotee says: ‘O Lord, I had wished that I never forget Thee even for a moment, but, alas, I kept on forgetting Thee again and again.“Khaaham ke na gardam za to gaafil yak dam,“I had wished that I never forget Thee even for a moment,Shri Nathji narrates how Mahamteshwari, he and the children were travelling by car from Bombay to Delhi when the tyre of the car punctured in the notorious Chambal Valley famed for its dacoits. “Unko daakoo-pan men hee darshan huye!”“They were granted the darshan of God in their banditry!”Shri Nathji recollects His verse, which had also been placed on a wall at his residence at Nagpur in 1978:“Khaab ka kaasaa gadaayi taajshaahi ek hai,“The begging bowl and the crown of thy dream are one and the same,Shri Nathji emphasizes the importance of service – sevaa – rendered to God in Human Form, citing the example of Kewat in the Ramayana, who was a simple boatman who ferried Rama across a river. Before asking Lord Rama to come into his boat, he recognized His Divinity and said:“Paihle charan pakhaar loon“Let me wash Thy Feet first,The Bhav Saagar was the Ocean of Life and Death. In those times it was Rama, now it was Shri Nathji who would take people across the Bhav Saagar.“A beggar asked a seth – a rich man – for alms. The seth in return asked the beggar to give him some rice from the rice bag the beggar was carrying. The beggar, in disgust, gave the seth one grain of rice only. The seth put something in the rice bag of the beggar and left. When the beggar boiled the rice later, he found in it a grain of gold! If only he had given more grains of rice to the seth!”Shri Nathji tells the story of the robber who robbed people only to feed others. He asked only this of Laxmi – the goddess of wealth:“Whenever I make food, let me put aside a ‘And, indeed, God came to his house as a hungry man at a time when there was no food in his house. The robber went out to get food from the rich. He went into the forest and spotted a rich couple, and was ready to rob them and even take the wife’s jewellry – when the couple revealed themselves as Vishnu and Laxmi!“But do not force God! There was Moses who insisted that God appear before him: “Ab kyon Moosaa hain gash men khaamosh,‘Why lies Moses in a Swoon now?“Do not test the Lord!”Shri Nathji narrated the story of the legendary Sohni who loved Mahiwal. There was a time when she was so absorbed in the thought of her Beloved that she strode by a Maulvi-a Muslim priest, who was observing his ‘“Lagan men teri nikal gaye jo“Absorbed in Thy thought, they went across, Not caring for the fearsome waters,Other important pronouncements are made by Shri Nathji before Mangla, as He says:“THE GEETA WAS REVEALED BY LORD KRISHNA BEFORE ARJUNA. “Patti ko phool ki lagaa sadmaa naseem ka,“The wind did buffet the petal of a flower,“I WEEP FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD AND THEIR SORROWS!”“I am broadcasting to the whole world. This is not impossible. If one can broadcast through the Radio and Television, then why can one not broadcast directly! It is a Divine Flow that cannot be stopped.a) Live Peacefully“Of what use a crown of thorns on the head of a King? It is our ignorance that brings forth FEAR.Kavi shudem che shudThou hast belong like this, what then?Shri Babaji used to say:“Agar Krishna svaiyam aa jaaen to log mandiron men jaayenge yaa unko sunenge?“If Krishna were to appear Himself, would people go to the temples or listen to Him?”“Beware! Understand the Reality! This world and its rise and falls are but a dream which is to go away.“Chanchalamanabhimana KrishnaKaam, Krodh, Lob Moh, Ahankaar“Lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride. “But let God come before it, and its restlessness ceases.“Dauraane bakaa choon baade sehraa biguzasht,“The time of life passes away like the wind over the jungle,“I am saddened to see the sorrows of the world.“Ham to jeete hain ke duniyaan men teraa naam rahe“I live today so that THY name be made known,“Gyaani ke aage bhagwan hain,“God is in the forefront in the knower,“Khudaa ke bande to hain hazaaron, banon men phirte hain maare maare,“There are thousands of men of God who wonder about in the forest“Tere seene men to pinhaan baihare bepaayaan rahe“An ocean of voluminous billows is pent up in thy heart.“A treasure is hidden in Thy heart! God is within thy heart!“Mitne se paihle mit chukaa ho!”“It is necessary to live, and it is necessary to leave.”“Karma ke tyaag se ye vishva kaise chalegaa!My mission is not renunciation of action, but rather ‘action’ in ‘inaction’. When you do all your tasks ardently, taking them to be tasks allotted by God, your work becomes your worship. This is ‘action’ in ‘inaction’. ‘Inaction’ then becomes ‘In action’.“Meraa naam Bhola Nath hai. Main bahut bhola hoon. “My name is Bhola Nath. I am very bhola–innocent.
