There are visitors as always. A man lay asleep with his bundle of freshly washed white clothes lying by his side. A dyer – Rangrez – passed by and was so deeply touched by the whiteness of the clothes that he dyed them with the colour he had with him. The man said to him: Another man was found whose turban had been dyed with the same colour. They were so clean, I simply had to dye them! When you put them on and were extremely happy – that was payment enough for me. I remained hidden when you searched for me, because I enjoyed watching you in the coloured clothes, and others also saw the colour! And, finally, I had to come and save you from falling so that the colour I had given you would not be spoiled!”Shri Nathji’s parable showed how God “dyed” a pure heart with His Colour, and how the colour attracted the hearts of all who saw it, and made others seek God. And just when man was about to fall, God came and saved him from falling!
