At 10:55 am on Monday morning, November 11, 1991, there is Shri Nathji sitting up in bed in his new red Mohini sweater. He is broadcasting his Blessings to the whole world as He speaks to Mangla:“Yahaan jo kuchh ho usse buddhee se kabhee na samajhne ki koshish karnaa.“No matter what happens here, do not try to grasp it with the intellect alone!”Shri Nathji was voicing a very important Truth. Intellect and Faith stood on different footings. The intellect could easily detract from one’s Faith. How could Lord Rama be God if He was so helpless that He needed the help of so many persons to recover Sitaji? How could Lord Krishna raise the Goverdhan Mountain with His finger? How could Christ be the Son of God if He could not save Himself? Indeed the intellect could easily shatter the boundaries of faith.“Rama Vijaye iss men naheen thhee ke unhonen Ravana ko maar diyaa – balki iss men thhee ke Hanuman aur Sugreeva Raavana kaa vaibhav dekh kar bhee usske naa bane – jab ke vanvaasi Rama ke paas to khaane ko bhee naheen thhaa! Hanumanji ne apna vishvaas Rama men naheen khoyaa unhen asmarthh dekh kar bhee!“The victory of Lord Rama lay not in his killing Ravana – but rather in this, that his devotees, Hanumana and Sugreeva, did not become loyal to Ravana even on seeing his wealth and grandeur, in contrast to the poverty of the exiled Rama. Hanumanji did not lose his faith in Rama even on seeing Him in states of acute helplessness!”Shri Nathji continues:“A certain Guru left the temple and went to a drinking tavern. Some of his disciples lost faith and left him. But others, who did not allow their intellect to interfere with their faith, followed him wherever he went. “Dosh az masjid sooye maikhaanaa aamad peere maa“Yesterday our master left the mosque and entered a drinking tavern,“There are times when God takes your test. However, this is only to raise your level of devotion.“When Lala Hargopal, the father of Mahamateshwari was ill, Mahamateshwari didn’t leave me, even though I urged her to go to her father.“THOSE WHO FOLLOW THE PATH OF FAITH ARE NOT MISLED BY REASON – MAAYAA PARRTI NAHEEN UNPAR JO BUDDHI NAHEEN BARAT TE!“Aaj Priyaji ne kyaa kahaa! ‘Meraa to svarg kuchh hai naheen! Aapkaa svaasth ttheek rahe bas yehi svarg hai!’“Priyaji made a profound observation today: ‘I have no desire for Heaven. My Heaven is only in seeing you well!’”
