Shri Nathji’s voice is loud – and full of energy. He even speaks for 85 minutes on this occasion – a record during these days. And He isn’t the slightest bit fatigued afterwards. The month of November 1991 is proving auspicious for Shri Nathji’s health. The first kind of servant was one who had no one man as his Master and when in need ran hither and thither. The second kind of servant was one who had a Master but who had no faith in him. When in need he went to others. The third kind of servant was one who had a Master and constantly placed his needs before Him.The Fourth kind of servant was one who had a Master, but who placed his need before him but once, but was silent thereafter. The Fifth kind of servant was one who had a Master and who had complete Faith in Him. He never placed his needs before His Master because he knew that his Master was all-knowing and would give whatever He thought best, unasked. The fifth kind of servant – or devotee – was the greatest amongst them all, for he had learnt how to say: THY WILL BE DONE. “When all other doors of the world close, the door of God is the only door that man can go to. How can God refuse to give the beggar who knocks at His door? Shri Babaji Maharaj used to say:Agar koyi bhoola bhatkaa Bhagwan ke dwaar par pahunch jaaye to usko kahaan phenkenge?’‘If some lost soul reaches the door of God where can God throw him?’“Bhutt Sahib used to say:‘Ye darbaar kripaa ka hai. Kab kripaa ki laihar aati hai, pataa naheen! Vahaan parre raho, na maalum kab aa jaaye!‘This place is where Divine Grace is given. One does not know when the wave of Divine Grace may come! Remain there, it may come at any time!’”“It is the voice of a devotee:‘Baihare yak nazzaaraa bar dare oo‘For a brief Divine Glimpse of Thee,“The devotee further says:‘Jab mere netron kaa surmaa tere pavitr sthaan ki dhool hai – to kaheen aur dekhte hee andhaa ho jaataa hoon!‘When the antimony of my eyes is the dust of Thy Sacred Place – then I must become blind if I look elsewhere!’“No matter how good a person may become, he must shun pride. “There was a mahatma who was sent to Heaven. ‘Your austerities and good actions were possible only because of the favours bestowed upon you by me! If you took my name, it was with the tongue I had given you! If you performed austerities, it was with the body and mind I had given you. If you did any good acts it was because of these favours I had bestowed upon you! And yet you are proud of your achievements! When none of them were possible without my gifts given so liberally to you! Even your life was given to you by me! Of what, therefore, are you proud?’Shri Nathji quotes His favourite verse about the love of a devotee for God:“Teraa vo gham jisse sau jaan se len ham shaadmaan hokar,“Give us Thy Sorrow which is the Bliss of our Lives,“Raihmate Haq bahaa nami joyad“The Grace of God does not seek a price,“God’s Grace seeks an excuse to come to man, such is His generosity.
