Priya Nath shows a damaged wire to Shri Nathji – and, lo and behold! – the instrument begins to work again by Shri Nathji’s miracle! “Hashr tak sunte rahen Priya Nath ye gaane tere”“Let all go on listening to your songs, O Priya Nath, till eternity!”The verse was printed in 1981 in Shri Nathji’s book of ghazals, “Jaame Bekhudi” in the poem: Ye takallum ye muhabbat ye teri dariyaa dileeThy words, thy love, thy unbounded generosity,Aaj jalti shamaa par aayaa na Parvaanaa koyiToday, nary a moth did come towards the lighted flame,Hai jahaan ke sab dilon kaa sirf ye kaihnaa yahiIt is the voice of all the hearts of the worldIndeed, the love of Shri Nathji was so great that it could even draw a moth away from the flame and bring it to Him.
