He is now singing the ghazal. It’s 9:37 am. He is reading out certain lines and explaining their meanings. Maybe I should record His singing to capture His cheerful mood:“Ashk-haa ki sooraton men phir tabassum aa gaye,“The faces with tears are now filled with smiles,O Lord, a countless, countless, thanks to Thee for keeping Pitaji in such a jolly mood.“Vo mil hee naheen rahee!“It seems to be lost!”O Lord, it’s 10:17 am, Pitaji is lying back in bed. I have just taken His weight to be 41 kg which is a wonderful thing, and shows that no water excess has been lost, nor any extra weight gained. (1)(2)Later, on Monday night, Pitaji and I came again into the big room, where we discussed the Dehra Dun matter which is weighing heavily upon His mind. Those whom He had entrusted with His property were seeking to become its owners. It pained Him deeply, and worsened His illness somewhat.“Piyaji garam, garam pakorra khaane ko jee kartaa hai!”
