I begin writing small booklets on THEE to be printed in Hindi and English both. Due to paucity of funds these had to be brief sketches about THEE, rather than a complete biography.“Maanaa ke teri deed ke kaabil naheen hoon main“O Lord, perhaps I am not worthy enough to have a glimpse of Thee,O Dear, Dear, Pitiji, I recollect how Thou hadst said on June 22, 1987 on the “World Day of Love” at Sapru House, New Delhi, when Thou had to be carried inside the Hall in a state of acute weakness and could barely speak:“Maine apni kul taakaten Shri Priya Nathji koThou hadst said this in a voice full of emotion. Everyone had thought you would never recover, but you bounced back into good health the very next day!!“Priyaji mera ‘Dikhaaoon apni young age ka roop? Ye Priya Nathji men dekh lo!’‘Shall I show you my young age? Here, look at Priya Nathji!’”Was it to give me a new-found FREEDOM from the duty of looking after me that Thou left the world – O Dear, Dear, Pitiji – so that I could spread THY MESSAGE unhindered and unhampered? O Pitaji – but THOU could have remained hale and hearty till the age of 120 – and left the world silently without suffering even as much as Thou hadst suffered. But, all I could say now was:“THY WILL BE DONE.”Please build THY own monuments. I lack the strength and competence of doing anything.“Piyaji, Mussoorie kiWould I ever be able to fulfil the least of THY wishes? It’s 2:53 am. Good Night, Dear, Dear, Pitaji. It’s another late night, like the late nights we used to spend together.
