During the afternoon there is Shri D.N. Sinha who is to take Shri Nathji’s message to the Earth Summit at Brazil. He comes with his son Alok – on whose wedding Shri Nathji had risked his life in January 1982 just to bless the couple in the severe cold. Alok has his son with him. D.N. Sinha refers to Alok’s son as “Shri Nathji’s Great Grandson”. “Mujhe doctoron ne do ghante“Doctors had said I had two hours more to live. And I had thanked them. ‘Two hours? So much of time? You cannot be sure you have even that much of time yourselves!”Shri Nathji has been frequently narrating this to visitors these past few months, referring to his heart attack of March 1991.“Bhook see lagi haiPriya Nath had asked Shri D.N. Sinha to bring a new drug ‘Nicorandil’ from Japan which was said to be better than Sorbitrate. However, Dr. K.K. Aggarwal, the famous cardiologist of Delhi, who is the son-in-law of Shri Sanghi advocate, tells Priya Nath on the phone that the conventional medicine available in India is good enough – these are the ‘Nitrates’ as the heart drugs are called.“Let ke aur “It is more comfortable lying flat!”Shri Nathji thus relieves Priya Nath of a great worry, even as Priya Nath records:“Dear, sweet, Pitiji, always relieves me of worry whereas I heap it on Him through my ill-informed mind.”Priya Nath further records his prayers:“O Lord, Thou didst miraculously make Him walk; thou didst better the stream, Thou didst make the output large; Thou didst give such incredible strength to the heart to make Pitaji walk up to 60 Rounds in the big room -verandah combine. O Lord, please help us and save us, always… Please keep Pitaji well, that is my only prayer to Thee, O Dear, Dear Lord, please save us and help us.”Shri Nathji has been given 1475 cc of fluids by Priya Nath – the largest amount He has ever drunk in years. Priya Nath prays for a large output so that there is no fluid accumulation, and Shri Nathji’s weight does not go up.
